Amount
- Up to $1,000 for 9 to 11 completed credits
- Up to $1,500 for 12 to 14 completed credits
- Up to $2,000 for 15 to 17 completed credits
- Up to $2,500 for 18 or more completed credits
Eligibility
- Minimum of 9 hours of CCC credit before completing high school.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on CCC transcript.

- Attend a high school in Thomas County; or
- Attend a high school in the 14-county service area and qualify for free or reduced-price lunches.
The Kansas Promise Act Scholarship provides “last dollar” awards to Kansas students after other types of financial aid have been applied.
Students receiving a performance scholarship or participating in a performance-based activity who are not residents of Kansas are eligible for in-state tuition upon acceptance and occupancy in Colby Community College residence halls. Contact the Scholarship Office for more information. Please review the Performance-Based Scholarship Policy.

The following are considered Leadership Scholarships. A student may be awarded one leadership scholarship per academic year.

This is a competitive scholarship process. Students may be awarded either the Leadership Scholarship or the Presidential Scholarship; however, scholarship awards are not guaranteed.

Scholarships are awarded through C3 Scholar. Students have two weeks to accept a scholarship from the date it is awarded. Students should log in to their C3 Scholar account regularly to check the status of their applications.
- First priority deadline: December 31
- Second priority deadline: February 15
These deadlines apply to most scholarships. Read the description of each scholarship for specific information regarding the opportunity.
Note: Any student who has attempted to complete more than 93 CCC credit hours will not be eligible for institutional scholarships, except non-degree-seeking students or students who have previously completed a degree.
