The Colby Tennis Center will officially open with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and open house at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24. The facility is on the site of the old tennis courts at Colby Community College.

Covering 21,328 square feet, the building features two collegiate tennis courts, two pickleball courts, and a walking area. It will be open 24 hours a day and accessible to the community.

Grants and donations funded the $1.2 million project.

"We are excited to celebrate the grand opening of the Colby Tennis Center," said CCC Endowment Foundation Director Jennifer Schoenfeld. "Like so many of our projects, the community of Colby and northwest Kansas came together to create another great opportunity for all to enjoy."
