CCC Board of Trustees

The Colby Community College Board of Trustees comprises six elected members from Thomas County who serve the College and the community without compensation. Through thoughtful leadership and a commitment to policy governance, the Board provides strategic direction, exercises sound fiscal stewardship, and ensures accountability in support of the College's mission. Trustees devote their time and expertise to making informed decisions that strengthen educational opportunities and serve the best interests of students, employees, taxpayers, and the communities of northwest Kansas.

Board Member Patrick TothPATRICK TOTH (2024-2028)
Chair
Mr. Toth was elected to the board and began his term in Jan. 2020. He is in business locally, champions the public library, and is an EMS volunteer. 

Board member Jessica VaughnJESSICA VAUGHN (2026-2030)
Vice Chair
Jessica Vaughn was appointed to an unfilled seat in Jan. 2020. She is the Vice President of Credit at Farm Credit Services of Western Kansas.

 

Arlen Leiker

KACCT Representative
Arlen Leiker is the current Kansas Association of Community College Trustees’ representative. He drives for UPS and has served on the Board of Trustees since 2007.

 

Trustee Audrey HinesAUDREY HINES (2026-2030)
Treasurer
Audrey Hines began her service on the board in 2013. She works as a grain merchandiser at Cornerstone Ag in Colby.

 

 

Trustee Donna HenryDONNA HENRY (2026-2030)
Endowment Representative
Donna Henry was appointed to fill an open position in Dec. 2020. She is a retired educator and serves on the Genesis-Thomas County Food Bank board.

Zack Odell was appointed to fill an open position in Feb. 2024. He is the chief executive officer at S&T Communications.
