Is there wireless internet, and will I need to bring a router?
There is wireless internet in each of the buildings, so there is no need to buy a router.
What size is the bed?
The beds are twin standard. The source page also lists twin extra-long sheets in the suggested items to bring.
Can I bring a microwave or mini fridge?
Yes. Students are allowed both microwaves and mini fridges.
Is there a study space in the dorms?
Yes. There are common areas in each complex with computer banks.
What pets are allowed in the dorms?
Only service animals are allowed. Documentation must be presented to the Director before moving in.
What furniture is in the room?
The rooms have a bed and mattress, closet, desk and chair, and dresser.
How many RAs and dorm coordinators are on campus?
The page states there are three professional staff members, one in each complex, and 10 student RAs.
How can I contact Residence Life?
Housing Office: 785-460-5552; Student Life Office: 785-460-4610.
What security is available?
CCC has a full-time security officer at 785-460-5508, available in the Student Union. The page also states that night security is available.
Where is health services and how can I contact them?
CCC has a full-time nurse at 785-460-5502, available in the Student Union.
Can I have a toaster?
No. Toasters or anything with an exposed heating coil are not allowed.
Can I have a coffee maker?
Yes.
Can I have a miniature grill?
No. Items with an open flame are not allowed around the residence halls. The page states there are two grills on campus for student use.
Can I have visitors?
Visitors are welcome until midnight on weekdays and 1 a.m. on weekends.
Where should people back home send my letters and packages?
Inquire in the Mailroom daily. Outgoing mail may be taken to the Campus Mailroom in the Student Union.

Policy Information
As a resident, you are responsible for reviewing and knowing the policies found in the Residence Life Handbook as well as the Student Handbook. Please read the contents thoroughly. If you have any questions, please ask a staff member. Failure to abide by these policies may result in unintended behaviors and consequences, such as a summons to appear before the student conduct board and/or sanctions. Please take your responsibility as a member of this community seriously.
Meal Plan and Information
Eighteen meals a week are offered. Meal plans are required for all students living in campus housing.
If you cannot make it to a mealtime, please contact Consolidated Food Management in the Student Union or a member of the dining staff regarding take-out meals. Consolidated works with students to provide dining options that meet their individual needs, including takeout meals, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.
