Sheyenne SpadySheyenne is one of the veterinary nursing instructors at CCC, mainly teaching the online program but also teaching a few on-campus classes.

Sheyenne grew up in Lamar, Colo., and was active in 4-H, raising and showing goats, pigs, sheep, and cattle. She graduated from Lamar Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in 2015. She attended Colby Community College for the veterinary nursing program and graduated in 2018 before earning her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification in Colorado the same year. After graduation, she moved back to Lamar and worked in a mixed animal general practice until 2022. She obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification in Kansas in 2022 and joined the CCC team.

She has a shepherd mix named Annie that she adopted from CCC upon graduation, and a cat named Quinn. Back on the family farm, she has two horses, Stella & Tequila, two retired goats, Kixx and S'mores, and a steer named Franklin.

Along with teaching, she is attending St. Petersburg College's online program to obtain her bachelor's degree in veterinary technology and intends to graduate in the fall of 2023.
