Plans for new ag center at Colby Community College

At the Aug. 22, 2022, meeting, the Colby Community College Board of Trustees approved the bid of Stephens Construction, Inc. to build a 12,400-square-foot agriculture building on the CCC campus. The facility will be west of the Stanley Carr Agriculture Center and provides much-needed space and future growth for the ag programs. The college broke ground on Oct. 21 with a brief ceremony, and if plans go as expected, students will enjoy the new facility for the fall 2023 semester.

CCC has already secured approximately $2,500,000 through donations and grants. No debt or bond obligation will be incurred on the project. Tax credits are available for interested donors.
