At the Aug. 22, 2022, meeting, the Colby Community College Board of Trustees approved the bid of Stephens Construction, Inc. to build a 12,400-square-foot agriculture building on the CCC campus. The facility will be west of the Stanley Carr Agriculture Center and provides much-needed space and future growth for the ag programs. The college broke ground on Oct. 21 with a brief ceremony. Weather and supply chains permitting, students can expect the new facility to open in time for the fall 2023 semester.

CCC has already secured approximately $2,700,000 through donations and grants. No debt or bond obligation will be incurred on the project. Tax credits are available for interested donors.
