The works of Fort Hays State University painting professor Joel Dugan and his students will be featured at the Nov. 17 Colby Community College Thirsty Thursday art show. The exhibition will be open from 7-9 p.m. in the Cultural Arts Center gallery.

Dugan has an active national record of solo and group shows, including many public art commissions for institutions such as the Ford Motor Company and the State of Michigan.

Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.

CCC art instructor Rebel Jay noted the exhibition is the same night as the Western Plains Arts Association’s performance by Rhythm Future Quartet in the adjacent Frahm Theatre.

“This will be a good opportunity to experience a night of culture,” she said. “Let’s pack the house and eat all the food!”

Thirsty Thursday is hosted the third Thursday of each month during the academic year by the CCC art department. There is no admission charge.
