The Thomas County Farm Bureau Association and Colby Community College Farm Bureau Chapter are sponsoring a free viewing of the documentary “Food Evolution” at 7 p.m. Monday, April 23, in the Frahm Theatre.

According to the website promoting the film, “Food Evolution” explores the controversy surrounding genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and food. Traveling from Hawaiian papaya groves, to banana farms in Uganda to the cornfields of Iowa, the film, narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, wrestles with the emotions and the science driving one of the most heated arguments of our time.

A panel of local professionals will be available for discussion at the conclusion of the movie.
