How do students receive scholarship consideration?

Admitted, prospective and current students can apply for all CCC scholarships, including Endowment Foundation Scholarships and Institutional Scholarships, by completing the General Application within the Award Spring scholarship system. Students are only required to complete the General Application once each academic year.

How do students log into Colby Community College AwardSpring?

All admitted students have access to AwardSpring through their ePortal account. Students will use their college issued credentials to access ePortal. The AwardSpring icon will be visible on their ePortal dashboard. Students can click on the AwardSpring icon and will be automatically logged into the system.

What is the deadline to submit the general application?

There are two priority deadlines each academic year. The deadlines can be located on the main scholarship page under the Scholarship Deadlines section.  The calendar can be found on the CCC website.  All students (prospective or current) should have their general applications submitted by this date to be considered for all CCC scholarships.  Students are encouraged to review  Scholarship Deadlines on the Scholarship page of the CCC website to ensure maximum scholarship consideration.

Which questions on the application should students complete?

In addition to completing the required fields, students are encouraged to complete the application to the fullest extent to maximize scholarship consideration.

Items requiring completion vs. Applied scholarships?

Once a student completes the General Application they are auto-applied to scholarships based off of the information provided on the General Application. These scholarships require no further steps to apply and will be listed under Applied scholarships. There are multiple scholarships that may require additional information or steps to fully submit. These scholarships will be listed under Items requiring completion. Students can select this button and will be displayed any additional scholarship opportunities that require more information to complete. 

How do students receive confirmation of their application submission?

Students are able view their completed application at anytime through their AwardSpring Dashboard. Once they have accessed their account, their dashboard will list all completed applications as well as any that may still need additional information.
