H.F. Davis Library
Davis Library is a selective depository for federal government publications as well as a depository for the State of Kansas. Additionally, access can be gained to electronic sites for Kansas state government.
In addition to Internet abilities (including laptop connectivity for students and the general public), Davis Library offers several databases. Databases include but are not limited to: Newsbank, Infotrac, CINAHL, LexisNexis, FirstSearch, and A Matter of Fact. Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services are available for those resources that are available in book format or are not available electronically. Other services provided by the library include fax and photocopy machines (change provided).

H.F. Davis Library is a "congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)."

Access to databases is limited to CCC students. Most databases are available campus wide using IP recognition. To access these databases off campus, using a remote connection, please contact library staff.

Ask a Librarian
Ask a Librarian is a reference service provided by H.F. Davis Library. Questions will be answered within 24 hours, excluding weekends, holidays and vacations. Your questions should be clearly stated and factual in nature, rather than philosophical. For example, "What are the dates of the Boer War?" Philosophical questions such as "Does God exist?" cannot be answered through this service.
Comprehensive Learning Center
Students who need help writing an essay, solving algebra problems or preparing for a test are encouraged to visit the Comprehensive Learning Center (CLC) in the H.F. Davis Library. Students will receive assistance from trained and certified peer tutors in the CLC at no cost!
