To educate and inform prospective students of the many opportunities Colby Community College has to offer them.  We work as a team to attain optimum enrollment and provide knowledge and guidance to all.  We continue to explore new avenues to reach the most students possible while maintaining a "students first" approach.

Admission Requirements

  • graduate of an accredited high school or home school.
  • A student transferring from another accredited collegiate institution.
  • A holder of the General Educational Development (GED) certificate. 
  • High School Sophomores through Seniors who wish to enroll in courses offered by Colby Community College either on campus or at a campus outreach center, must obtain approval from their high school principals prior to enrolling in the course.  These students are not eligible to take classes with a course code below 100.
  • International Students:  Applicants who are citizens of a foreign country must complete these additional steps.

Enrollment Checklist

  1. Send official high school transcript or GED to the Admissions Office.  Official transcripts include final grades and a graduation date.  Official transcripts must be sent directly from the institution.
  2. Send official copies of any previous college transcripts to the Registrars’ Office.
  3. Apply for Financial Aid.  School Code: 001911
  4. Visit Student Accounts about payment options including FACTS payments.
  5. Send copies of all ACT, SAT, and/or COMPASS scores to the Admissions Office.  Students enrolling in English or math classes meet score requirements.  Test scores cannot be more than two years old.
  6. Select classes and enroll online.  Contact Admissions for assistance.
  7. Send medical history form to the Admissions Office.
  8. Complete optional release of information waiver (2 Pages). Learn about FERPA.
  9. Select a housing option.
