Alumni Spotlight: Doug Johnson
Doug graduated from Colby Community College in 1992 with an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies. He then transferred to FHSU where he received his B.A., and MLS in Organizational Leadership.
As the Student Support Services Director at CCC, he serves on a number of committees at the college including the Behavioral Committee, Enrollment Management, and is a member of the Title IX team. He started at CCC in Admissions over 17 years ago. Working and dedicating himself to this college is a family tradition as he follows in his father's footsteps.
“Doug always puts our students first and makes time for them whenever they have a need,” said administrative assistant Jeanie Quist. “He also organizes the campus workshops through our department and even presents at some of them. He acts as the announcer for numerous campus activities such as Homecoming Bonfire/ Pep Rallies and Student Orientation. Doug has a passion for our students and strives to help them in any capacity he is able. He wants them to be able to advocate for themselves when they graduate from our school.”
