Title:: NW Kansas 10th Annual Youth Outdoor Day

Description

The 10th Annual Northwest Kansas Youth Outdoor Skills Day and Outdoor Expo will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010, on the Colby Community College campus.

The event is sponsored by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and Colby Community College. There is n charge for this event which begins at 9 a.m.

The outdoor Venor Show will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Student Union.

Youth participants and adult volunteers will receive a free elkburger lunch.

Outdoor activities include shotgunning, archery, compass and map reading, fishing, wildlife management and a hunter education class.
