2012 Fall Orientation New Students New Student Orientation on August 20th is a requirement for first-time, full-time students. It is an opportunity to begin the college experience with one of the most important events of a student's academic career.  The first week of classes will be packed with activities to make friends, meet the faculty and staff, listen to nationally-recognized speakers, and become familiar with campus resources.   Activities for All Students All new and returning students are encouraged to attend the speakers' sessions and participate in activities. Flights must arrive before 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bus Transportation is available the Saturday the resident halls open in August and January. Also, the Saturday after finals in December and the Sunday after graduation in May. Flights must leave after 10 a.m. central time and return flights should be in by 3 p.m. mountain time.
