Solar Photovoltaic

Certificate of Completion

Solar Photovoltaic (PV) is one of the fastest growing technologies in the energy market. Because this program is online, it gives the student the ability to learn and work from home. Each of these online courses has a one Saturday “boot camp” that is highly recommended. However, if the student is unable to attend, an alternative assignment will be given. Each course is taught one at a time which allows the student to concentrate and retain more easily. Students can also start this program any semester including summer.

Our Boot Camps have state-of the art equipment/labs that are real-world systems (not mockups) for hands-on training. Some of the best training experiences found in this program are through our hands-on labs. Boot Camps give the student the necessary hands-on training needed to be successful in this industry.

For people wanting to change careers, become a PV installer or designer, homeowners, and farm owners, this program has a course and training lab for everyone. The graduate of this unique program will be prepared to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Entry Level Exam for Solar PV. Employers are looking for this credential when hiring. Because this program only consists of four courses, the graduate will be quickly prepared for the solar industry and his/her career!
