PROGRAM SUMMARY

Small Wind Technical Certificate Brochure (37 hours)

Small Wind Certificate of Completion Brochure (12 hours)

Wind turbine technician is the number one job in the wind energy industry. Because CCC offers both the Small Wind Technology Technical Certificate and the Small Wind Certificate of Completion online, students have the flexibility to learn and work from home.

Participation in Saturday “boot camps” is recommended to gain hands-on training. Boot camps are offered every eight weeks in the fall and spring semesters, and offer state-of the art equipment/labs that are real-world systems (not mockups).

For those wanting to change careers, become a wind turbine installer or designer, homeowners, and farm owners, this program has a course and training lab for everyone.

For additional information, contact Derek Reilley, Program Director, at 785.460.5431 or email at derek.reilley@colbycc.edu.

See recent data on CCC students who studied Small Wind Technology.
