Certificate of Completion
After obtaining the certificate of massage therapy from CCC, the graduate will be prepared for self-employment or employment through an existing practice/ health care setting according to his/her career goals.
There are two paths a student can take to earn this certificate. The first is the traditional, face-to-face courses on the Colby Community College campus. Starting Fall 2015, the second path will allow a student to have a full-time job, complete the book work online and then complete the hands-on portion every other weekend in Norton. - Fill out our interest form (only if you have not already done so).
- Must take ACT, SAT or Compass test and receive a passing reading and writing score. If not, you will have to take an English class equivalent prior to admission into the program.

Director of Massage Therapy
Amber Nuttycomb, RVT, BAS, NCTMB, CMT, has been a certified massage therapist for over 4 years with over 7 years of experience specializing in Equine Massage. She is a CCC alumna from the Horse Production, Veterinary Technician, and Massage Therapy programs. Helping people and horses overcome injuries is what steered her towards this profession; her goals are to help them get back on track as soon as possible. She has had the privilege to work with many talented therapists over the year influencing her in the many different modalities massage has to offer. Nuttycomb has had training in Hot Stone Therapy, Chinese Cupping, Therapeutic Stretching, Prenatal, and Sports Medicine Massage.
Massage Therapy Instructor
Tenley Ortiz has been a professional massage therapist and instructor since 2011. Her passions include: pursing education, teaching and enlightening others to the benefits of massage therapy. Ortiz ran cross country and track in college for Texas State University and understands the importance of incorporating massage in order to achieve personal goals. In her leisure time, she concentrates on family, personal fitness, and helping others reach their goals.
