Feedlot Management

Certificate of Completion

The Feedlot Certification program is a one-year program designed to prepare students for a career in the feedlot industry.  The students enrolled in this program gain experience in cattle handling, animal health, cattle feeding, and feedlot management practices.  Prior to being certified, students will be evaluated by a participating area feedlot company under the "real world" working conditions.  Certified employees have greater income and professional potential versus their uncertified counterparts.
